Kathryn Taylor

Specialty: Yoga, Curation and Impact

Kathryn Taylor (KT) is a yoga teacher, writer, and creative director of Centro Calea — a space for practice, culture, and community in Tulum, Mexico. Her work is rooted in the belief that learning and connection happen when we show up fully — not perfectly, but honestly.

KT holds an E-RYT500 with Yoga Alliance and is certified in Integrative Restoration (iRest®). She’s studied across multiple yoga lineages for over a decade, with a focus on how traditional philosophy meets modern practice. Her classes are built around intelligent movement, breath, and introspection — tools for navigating the chaos and beauty of being human.

At Centro Calea, she curates programs that center creativity, sustainability, and embodied practice. Her teaching is less about performance and more about presence — creating space for people to explore who they are, and who they might become.

Off the mat, KT is an accomplished grant writer working with social initiatives and documentary filmmakers. Her writing supports impact-driven creators whose work shifts conversations and sparks change.

She splits her time between Mexico and Europe with her husband, and is usually somewhere between a book, a dance floor, and the sea.
